Hi! Welcome to Song Beyond Silence. My name is Katherine Forster, and this is where I share my writing, poetry, thoughts about Scripture and life, and maybe some other updates and randomness thrown in.

I believe theology and art can and should coexist. My writing is founded on a firm belief in a God who is real and true, a God who revealed Himself to us through the Scriptures, and whose existence gives us a reason to create things that are beautiful.

I try to post a serious (ish) article or book review on Mondays, and poetry, art stuff, or randomness on Thursdays; but those will probably end up getting somewhat intertwined.

Jesus Christ is my Savior, Christianity is my identity, God’s word is my passion. Writing is my calling. The Bible Bee is my second family. I struggle with my own pride and lack of love every day, but God’s love is everlasting, and by His grace I’m growing through the fight. I’m writing a book for teenagers on how to study the Bible, because it changed my life. I like rainy afternoons with tea and dark chocolate and words to write.
